Sp Unit Staff RN - Hospital

The Sp Unit Staff RN provides professional nursing care as a leader of the healthcare team, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures. This role is ideal for those who are flexible, demonstrate quality and effectiveness in their work habits, and treat all members of the healthcare team with dignity and respect.

• Pay: $70 - $96/hour
• Location: Riverside, CA
• Facility: Riverside Medical Center
• Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift

• Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures and applicable laws.
• Serve as a leader of the healthcare team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and optimal pain control.
• Document accurately and legibly in patient charts.
• Discuss patient findings with physicians and healthcare team members.
• Practice customer service standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Act as a resource and mentor to new employees and team members.

• 1-year recent experience in acute Hemodialysis or completion of a KP acute Hemodialysis course within the last 12 months.

• Registered Nurse License (California)
• Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
