As a member of the health care team responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team or unit.
Responsibilities- Assists patients with activities of daily living and helps to promote a safe, comfortable environment that fosters the physiological and psychosocial well‑being of the patient.
- Notifies R.N. and/or L.V.N. of relevant changes in the patient’s condition, including, but not limited to, changes in vital signs, level of consciousness and/or pain, breathing pattern, drainage, amount of bleeding, mood, or increase and decrease in capabilities/limitations.
- Graduate from high school or its equivalent.
- Current CA C.N.A. certification, BLS and MAB.
- Recent experience in an acute care setting preferred.
