Quality Assurance Lead

IDR is seeking a QA Engineer III to join one of our top gaming clients for a remote opportunity. In this role, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment to help protect the end-user experience by driving quality throughout the software development lifecycle. This is a great opportunity to support an innovative, consumer-facing digital product organization where testing strategy, defect insights, and continuous improvement are highly valued.

Position Overview for the QA Engineer III:

• Partner with developers, producers, and content teams to embed quality practices early in the development lifecycle and continuously provide feedback on in-progress work
• Own and improve test execution approaches at the feature/initiative level, including authoring test plans and overseeing test coverage execution
• Triage, monitor, and prioritize defects while using quality metrics to elevate risk and inform stakeholders
• Coordinate with remote testing partners/vendors by assigning work, coaching on effectiveness, and ensuring a high quality bar
• Provide clear visibility into QA progress, quality trends, and release readiness through reporting and regular updates to key partners

Requirements for the QA Engineer III:

• 6+ years of professional Quality Assurance experience in software development environments
• Demonstrated experience designing, writing, and executing test plans and test coverage strategies
• Hands-on experience managing defects in a tracking system, including triage, prioritization, and workflow ownership
• Experience coordinating and guiding remote testers (internal teams or external vendors), including tasking and feedback loops
• Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to create and present quality/test reporting to cross-functional stakeholders
• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN GAMING INDUSTRY
