Description

Join Syneos Health in partnership with a leading oncology diagnostics company as an Oncology Sales Specialist! The Oncology Sales Specialist (OSS) serves as the primary customer owner and contact for all assigned accounts within their territory. The OSS is responsible for calling on all stakeholders within their territory such as ENT’s, Radiation Oncologists and care team members. This role identifies opportunities to expand share of care and acquire new customers in the HNSCC community in support of an exciting diagnostic product launch.

The OSS handles the entire sales process for their assigned accounts and operates within their operating budget.

Responsibilities
  • Achieves annual sales goals through efficient management and satisfaction of customer needs within assigned territory.
  • Owns the entire sales process for assigned accounts.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key decision makers in accounts.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to develop strategies for account growth.
  • Develops and maintains territory coverage plan with sales management.
  • Provides routine service to key assigned accounts.
  • Properly sells and supports utilization of key product as directed.
  • Communicates regularly with all members of assigned territory team.
  • Performs product in‑service training to ensure customer satisfaction as needed.
  • Provides frequent market feedback on customer, product, competition and market conditions to sales management.
  • Develops and maintains territory specific information relative to competitors and distributors in the market.
  • Develops, maintains and delivers accurate information on lost business.
  • Achieves goals for product sales; maintains consistent momentum in sales cycle; self‑disciplined and self‑directed; overcomes obstacles; maintains high work ethic; creates sales opportunity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ Years Life Science Sales experience (Medical Device, Diagnostics or Pharmaceutical).
  • 2+ Years recent experience selling to ENT/Otolaryngologists or experience in Oncology, Diagnostics or related areas.
  • Oncology diagnostics experience strongly preferred.
  • Consistent track record of documented sales accomplishments.
  • Proficient with MS Office programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel as required by role (50%-75% of the time). Some overnight travel may be required.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual compensation range for this position is $200k‑235k. The range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and/or individual performance.

Benefits include a competitive compensation package, health benefits to include medical, dental and vision, company match 401(k), and flexible paid time off (PTO) and sick time. Eligibility for paid sick time may vary depending on where you work. Syneos Health complies with all applicable federal, state, and municipal paid sick time requirements.
