About the Company

Founded in 2009, Aliquantum International Inc. (AQI) is a privately held, global consumer products company headquartered in Ontario, California. We specialize in manufacturing, licensing, and distributing plush toys, character merchandise, collectibles, and lifestyle products.

Our portfolio includes more than 20 recognized character brands, with products sold through major retailers, specialty stores, and e-commerce channels. We have an international presence across the United States, China, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United Kingdom.

We’re an established business that continues to explore new markets and opportunities. We value people who take ownership of their work, collaborate across teams, and want to grow with the company.

Role Overview

AQI is expanding into the amusement and redemption industry, and we’re looking for a National Amusement Deputy Director to help build this business.

This is an opportunity for someone who already understands the amusement industry, knows its customers, and has the relationships needed to develop new business.

You’ll focus on expanding AQI’s presence across family entertainment centres (FECs), theme parks, family resorts, arcades, crane and claw‑machine operators, and other amusement venues.

Unlike a traditional account management position, this role involves building a new sales channel from the ground up. You’ll identify opportunities, establish national accounts, develop sales strategies, and take responsibility for the channel’s financial performance.

You’ll have access to AQI’s established portfolio of licensed brands, along with support from our merchandising, product development, design, and operations teams.

The position reports directly to the Executive Director of Sales and begins as an individual contributor role, with the opportunity to build a team as the business grows.

Responsibilities Build and grow the amusement business
  • Develop AQI's national presence across amusement parks, family entertainment centres, family resorts, arcades, and redemption operators.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities using established industry relationships.
  • Build relationships with national and regional buyers, operators, distributors, and purchasing teams.
  • Develop new accounts while creating opportunities for long‑term customer partnerships.
  • Establish and execute short‑term and long‑term sales strategies to grow the amusement channel.
Own sales strategy and financial performance
  • Take responsibility for the amusement channel's revenue, profitability, forecasting, and P&L.
  • Develop annual budgets, account plans, pricing strategies, and sales forecasts.
  • Evaluate opportunities based on revenue potential, margins, customer needs, and business priorities.
  • Monitor account performance and adjust strategies to achieve sales and profitability goals.
  • Present business plans, financial results, and growth opportunities to executive leadership.
Develop products and customer programs
  • Partner with merchandising, product development, design, and licensing teams to develop products suited to amusement and redemption customers.
  • Help shape AQI's amusement product catalog based on industry trends, customer demand, and commercial opportunities.
  • Work with customers to develop promotional programmes, product launches, and seasonal merchandise opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing, programme terms, and commercial agreements with key accounts.
Represent AQI and support future growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners through customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Represent AQI at events such as IAAPA Expo, Amusement Expo International, and NJAA.
  • Collab…
