** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at government transportation commission locations while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, parking areas, transportation-related facilities, and surrounding perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned locations, documenting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

+ Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and communication logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Pepper spray certification is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
