Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Journeyman Commercial HVAC

** Principal Duties and Responsibilities*
* + Knowledge of chiller systems, refrigeration, heat pump, and HVAC equipment

+ Responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

+ Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment such as vacuuming, cleaning, changing filters, and oiling parts.

+ Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems.

+ Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems.

** Job Specifications** (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.)

+ 5+ years of field experience as Licensed Journeyman in HVAC

+ Must have an EPA Certification (608) Universal License

+ Commercial experience as a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician

+ Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments.

+ Participates in the ongoing training available to our crews to keep updated on the newest equipment and latest software for HVAC equipment.

+ Strong oral and written communication required.

+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas.

+ Ability to read and understand blueprints.

+ Valid Driver's license and able to maintain a good driving record.

** Compensation Range:**   $48.41 - $56.95 per hour
** _The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement._*
