Aircraft Technician A&P

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will service, troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain aircraft and ground support equipment in support of test operations and sustainment activities in accordance with maintenance documentation.

• Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical troubleshooting, repair procedures, and part replacement.
• Basic understanding of electrical theory.
• Ability to log maintenance activities accurately in company aircraft logging system.
• Competency in assessing non-complex electrical systems.
• Conduct various inspections.
• Perform operational checks and maintenance aircraft appearance.
• Handle aircraft movement on the ground.
• Record maintenance actions and times.
  
  Adhere to safety and cleanliness protocols.
• Perform additional duties as required.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years minimum of Aviation Maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver's license required.
• Read, speak write and understand the English language.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Technician that works independently and can perform repairs on installations that require accuracy and timeliness.
• Knowledge of aircraft safety and operation emergency equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals.
• Capacity to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, push, pull, and perform other job duties for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces.
• Valid A&P license preferred with 2 years minimum of aviation maintenance experience.
• Compliance with FAA requirements for mechanics working on certified aircraft.
• Experience level necessary to perform inspections and repairs across various aircraft systems.
• Ownership of personal tools and toolbox.
• Able to pass a drug test.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 |

Salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and /or business considerations.
