This position is responsible for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of alarm security systems. Responsibilities include inspecting, testing and performing system checks in accordance to fire code;identifying code and system deficiencies and preparing accurate and timely inspection reports.#

* Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

*** Install or update burglar alarms, IT cameras and access control systems in commercial buildings.
* Test and repair existing alarm/IT cameras and access controls systems to the prescribed standards
* Perform routine inspections
* Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers equipment as needed
* Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports
* Inspect and maintain company truck and all related equipment, putting in repair requests as necessary to maintain safe operation
* Ensure a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication
* Maintain a clean and safe workspace
* Perform other duties assigned by management
** Education &

Qualifications:

*** Must have a minimum of two years' experience in security alarm/access control industry
* State issued TST License highly desired
* Experience with commercial systems preferred
* Troubleshooting skills
* Display knowledge of principles, practices, codes and regulations related to the work
* Interpret, apply, and explain applicable laws, codes, and regulations without supervision
* Must be flexible with scheduling requirements that occasionally will require evening, weekend and/or out-of-town assignments
* Requires the ability to maintain accurate records and reports
* Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy
* Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is required
* Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record

* Physical Requirements:

*** Industrial, Commercial, & Residential building environment with moderate to high noise levels, and comfort with working at heights.
* Mostly a physically demanding role. Most of the daily demand is standing and walking stairs and climbing ladders.
* May need to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to be on the phone and computer consistently throughout the day.
** Pay:
*** Our ideal candidate will have a range between two years' experience working as an Apprentice up to an experienced Technician requiring no supervision.
* The compensation range for this role $28 to $40 per hour based on experience and fire alarm licensing.
