We are seeking experienced an Avionics Technician to join our growing maintenance team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-driven, and committed to delivering exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Avionics Technician located at our facility in Chino, CA. The Avionics Technician will be responsible for performing electrical system installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting on a variety of aircraft. Daily tasks include interpreting wiring diagrams, repairing or replacing components, inspecting aircraft systems for proper functionality, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Collaboration with team members and adherence to all aviation standards are essential.
Responsibilities- Install a full range of avionics systems across diverse aircraft types.
- Provide technical insights and process improvements to enhance efficiencies for installations.
- Ensure all work meets FAA regulatory standards and customer specifications.
- Perform detailed quality checks and deliver defect‑free installations.
- Conduct and interpret functional tests of avionics/electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize avionics performance.
- Optionally, install cabin entertainment and in‑flight Wi‑Fi systems.
- Minimum 3 years of avionics installation experience.
- Expertise with Garmin, Universal, and Honeywell systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations and installation standards (Part 91 & 135).
- Hands‑on experience from single‑engine aircraft to mid‑sized jets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high‑performing team.
