You’ll be responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and forklifts. Position:
Fleet Mechanic III
Location:
Riverside/Redlands, CA

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs on automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), trailers, vans, and forklifts.
• Disassemble and overhaul motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends, and electrical systems.
• Complete all necessary documentation , including vehicle records.
• Manage ordering and inventory of parts.
• Mentor junior mechanics to help them grow in their roles.

• Monday through Friday
• Shifts:
  
  11:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly
• 3 years of fleet experience with various power units, trailers, and material handling equipment
• 3 years of experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, suspension, and brakes
• 2 years of experience using a computer for diagnostics on fleet vehicles
• Must supply own set of tools
• Willingness to achieve certifications within the first year, including ASE Heavy and Medium Duty, CDL A, and more
