Facilities Tech

The Facilities Tech 2 maintains building and material handling systems at an omni center. The role performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while supporting operations and maintenance projects.

• Promote a safe working environment and follow safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair conveyors, material handling systems, and building equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and electronic control systems using test equipment.
• Operate forklifts, lifts, tools, and energy management equipment as needed.
• Lead preventative maintenance procedures and assist with technician training.
• Create and close work orders, documenting labor, maintenance, and parts used.
• Support maintenance solutions and plans for facility and department goals.

• At least 3 years of experience with conveyors, electrical systems, and building maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge of material handling equipment operation and repair.
• Advanced knowledge of power, pneumatic, or hydraulic tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of control systems and PLCs preferred; robotics knowledge preferred.
• Ability to move up to 49 pounds and stand or walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
