About the role

The role is a Community Mental Health Staff Nurse position which will work initially in Riverview Resource Centre, Dumbarton Joint Hospital. The post holder will be an integral part of a multi‑disciplinary team and responsible for the assessment of people referred to the service. They will formulate, implement and evaluate programmes of care using a strength‑based recovery focused approach.

Shift pattern
  • Post 1: 29.6 Hours per week
  • Post 2: 22.2 Hours per week
  • NQN’s need not apply.
  • Salary is pro‑rata for part‑time hours.
Responsibilities
  • Assess people referred to the service.
  • Formulate, implement and evaluate care programmes using a strength‑based recovery approach.
  • Work independently in partnership with patients, carers and other professionals, in line with legislation and policies.
  • Provide care across a variety of home/near‑to‑home community environments.
  • Participate in regular caseload line management supervision and clinical supervision.
  • Supervise and mentor other staff; contribute to learning and development of the team.
Qualifications
  • Live NMC UK PIN required.
  • Qualified as a registered nurse and experienced in community mental health (ideally).
