Job DescriptionThe role of the Casual Bus Driver reports to and supports the College Bus Coordinator. The role requires a suitably qualified bus driver to commence on a casual basis. You must have a great personality, enjoy working with students of all ages, have a positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
The driving role supports the College bus service that picks students up at the beginning of the school day and returns them back at the end of the day.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate a medium rigid vehicle of varying sizes dependant on the route.
- Transport students to and from College on specific bus routes as outlined by the College.
- Uphold a safe and supportive environment for anyone travelling on the bus.
- Establish and maintain relationships with students, their families and colleagues.
- Maintain a high presentation of the interior of the bus.
- Comply with College policies, procedures and practices, including WHS and the Staff Code of Conduct.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Industry authority for bus drivers.
- Hold a current working Blue Card.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues.
- Possess strong Christian character and support the College Christian values
