Manufacturing Production, Operations Engineer
Overview

Schedule:
Mon–Thu 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, overtime Fridays as needed (consistent OT in colder seasons).
Compensation: $18–22/hr DOE.
Responsibilities- Understand the receiving process and how to store customer and in-house material.
- Complete receiving reports accurately.
- Read and interpret “pick” lists and select correct material for shipping.
- Pack, band, and wrap material for shipping.
- Understand all shipping functions in SAP and be able to use UPS World Ship and customer database (LTL).
- Follow all customer routing guides and adhere to procedures.
- Understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
- Understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
- Understand and support the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions.
- Understand and support relevant KPIs as defined in the goal tree.
- Technical Capacity
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be qualified and certified to operate a forklift (stand up).
- Operate equipment in a safe manner and understand safety policies and rules.
- Knowledge of generally accepted best practices and theory.
- Basic knowledge of quantitative methods/statistical procedures and graphic skills.

- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- One to two years of related experience.
The employee will be exposed to shop floor conditions (noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt, etc.). The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Required Education And Experience- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
