DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse who wants to give life in a hospital setting. You will deliver care in an empathetic, compassionate way to patients with end‑stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. If you have not considered Nephrology before, read on – we believe you should.

DaVita – which is Italian for “giving life” – is working to provide quality service to patients, partners, and teammates. Our mission is to be the Provider, Partner, and Employer of Choice.

Key Responsibilities
  • No dialysis experience is required.
  • Training may occur in a facility or a training facility other than your home facility.
  • Potential to float to various facilities during and after training.
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Deliver care to patients with multiple co‑morbidities, leveraging broad nursing skills.
  • Oversee a group of patients with support from PCTs for observations, measuring stats, and machine setup.
  • Work daily in a hospital setting and provide dialysis to patients at a contracted healthcare system.
  • Provide specialty nephrology care within ICU, CCU, ED, and other settings.
  • Maintain a schedule of regularly scheduled and on‑call shifts; weekly schedule may be known in advance, daily schedule may change.
What You Can Expect
  • Be part of a close‑knit interdisciplinary team where RNs are central.
  • Deliver dialysis services via hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
  • Fast‑paced environment requiring skillful patient management.
  • Work within DaVita’s Joint Commission Accredited Inpatient Dialysis Program.
Benefits
  • Comprehensive benefits:
Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, PTO cash out.
  • Support for you and your family: EAP counseling, Headspace®, backup child and elder care, maternity/paternity leave, pet insurance, and more.
  • Paid training and career development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or three‑year diploma acceptable.
  • Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med‑Surg is helpful but not required.
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is an advantage.
  • Successful completion of a pre‑employment color‑blind test (accommodation may be provided).
  • Full COVID‑19 vaccination may be required by partner hospitals; booster required when eligible.

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.
