Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. We’re looking for a Security Officer to join the team.

• Provide security on assigned casino or landing area: maintains high visibility, handles problem situations, watches for safety hazards, and provides assistance to medical officer.
• Patrol of parking lots.
• Provide security escorts for all monetary transfers, fills, and credits.
• Oversee customer boarding and disembarking: provide crowd control, direct traffic, check I.D., check for cameras, bottles and other items not allowed on Casino floor.
• Provide assistance to customers: give directions, call cabs, assist with car trouble, etc.
• Provide special assistance to disabled patrons as necessary.
• Assist with table and slot drops.
• Observe hard count crew doing the slot drop and transport tokens to hard count room.
• Provide assistance for table drop by providing drop boxes, observing the count, and securing drop boxes in soft count room.
• Monitor all entry and exit from hard count, soft count, and vault, and maintain logs of these activities.
• Serve as dispatcher.
• Dispatch other officers to various assignments and maintain activity log sheets.
• Watch and record monitors.
• Write detailed reports as required for incidents involving law violations and/or violations of company policy and procedure.

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Preferably six months related experience and/or training.
