Base Pay Range

Job Summary

As a Ultrasound/Radiology Technologist at Intermountain Health, you will support a dedicated clinical team, ensuring patients receive exceptional imaging care. You will work at the Riverton Hospital
, a community-based, acute‑care facility located in the southwestern Salt Lake Valley.

  • Sign‑On Bonus:
    Up to $5,000 for eligible applicants
  • Full‑time, Night Shift 7‑on / 7‑off

Essential Functions
  • Maintain ARDMS and ARRT certification and modality‑specific competency.
  • Ensure accurate patient identification, verify orders, and prepare patients for exams.
  • Perform exams according to department protocols; review images for clarity and accuracy.
  • Complete studies within acceptable time frames while upholding quality and patient care.
  • Assist and mentor students and other radiology techs on protocols, positioning, and equipment use.
  • Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
  • Practice proper infection control and sterile techniques.
  • Operate imaging equipment and related information systems to produce high‑quality images.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedures, and adverse reactions.
  • Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC programs, and report equipment issues.
  • Cover X‑ray duties as needed.

Qualifications
  • ARDMS Registration:
    Completion of one registry beyond physics (OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, pediatric, or vascular).
  • ARRT certification.
  • State licensure.
  • BCLS Certification:
    Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography and radiology.
Work Hours

Full‑time, 40 hours per week.
