General Dentist

General Dentist – Wind River Family and Community Health Care, Riverton, WY. Full‑time position. Salary: $70‑$110 per hour.

The General Dentist will remove tooth decay, restore and repair fractured teeth, diagnose and treat problems with patients' teeth, gums, and related oral structures, and provide advice on oral health and diet.

• Makes clinical and radiographic examinations of oral hard and soft tissues and diagnoses pathological or irregular conditions.
• Performs endodontic, prosthodontic, periodontic, operative, preventative, and restorative dentistry within scope of practice.
• Performs tooth extractions and refers as needed to the oral surgeon.
• Performs root‑canal therapy within scope of practice.
• Treats scheduled and emergent patients as needed.
• Inputs patient demographics into Dentrix Database.
• Informs patients about good dental‑health practices.
• Maintains a sterile/disinfected environment in delivering oral care.
• Performs other duties assigned to maintain and enhance the department operation.

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from an ADA‑approved or CODA‑accredited school.
• Passed National Board Dental Examinations and holds a current, full, and unrestricted license in the State, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check under IPFVP.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
