Description
Description The Quality Director, working in partnership with the Administration of Sage West Health Care and medical staff leadership, will provide leadership in the development of a culture of safety and the measurement of quality of care identifying opportunities and strategies for performance improvement (PI). This is in accordance with established indicators/criteria, hospital policy, LifePoint policy, QIO, CMA and Joint Commission requirements.
Includes, but is not limited to core measures, constituency satisfaction, Joint Commission and HIPAA. Performs/oversees chart review and data abstraction for quality reports and measures.
Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Health Administration or related field
- Master's Degree preferred
- 4-6 years of work experience in inpatient hospital setting to provide basic familiarity with current medical practices and regulatory controls such as Medicare, Medicaid, The Joint Commission and Peer Review Organizations
