Safety And Security Manager

Job Description

• Coordinates and oversees search and seizure activities and conducts investigations as assigned.
• Ensures civil rights are not violated and all proceedings are in compliance with Department Of Labor, Company and legal guidelines.
• Maintains effective public contact and communication.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety practices.
• Ensures compliance with Department Of Labor guidelines and The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program regulations.
• Conducts in service training for center staff as required.
• Conducts training for subordinates in all aspects of center safety and security. Must report unsafe conditions to supervisor anytime an unsafe condition arises.
• Completes required security logs, documents and records in a timely manner.
• Controls disturbances and assists staff in de-escalating the volatile situations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Three years of security or law enforcement experience, one of which was in a supervisory capacity.
• Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice or related field preferred; or a combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification preferred.
