What You'll Actually Do

Budget Management:
Establish and enter job budgets into the accounting system, then compare them against actuals.
Invoice Processing:
Collect delivery tickets, verify purchase order pricing, and accurately process and enter invoices.
Payment Verification:
Enter subcontractor payments and verify their compliance with contractual agreements.
Financial Accruals:
Create and enter material, trucking, and subcontractor accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Deviation Analysis:
Identify and explain reasons for deviations between budget versus actual entries, and from monthly/yearly revenue and gross profit forecasts.

The Must-Haves

Background:
Must hold a high school diploma or GED and be actively enrolled in a 4-year Accounting degree program.
Experience:

Moderate to high level of computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing; strong mathematical skills including discounts, interest, percentages, area, circumference, volume, basic algebra, geometry; and a full understanding of Construction Math concepts.
