OverviewAs a Dental Assistant you will support patients and the dental team, receiving training and resources to advance your career while making a real difference.
What You’ll Do- Assist with a wide range of procedures, ensuring patients are comfortable and the treatment process runs smoothly.
- Take dental X-rays with precision and care to support accurate diagnoses.
- Prepare and break down operatories after each procedure, keeping the workspace clean and efficient.
- Manage patient flow by facilitating smooth handoffs and assisting in transitions throughout the visit.
- Ensure infection control standards are met by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices to promote long-term health.
- Take accurate impressions and bite registrations for custom appliance creation.
- Conduct digital iTero scans to provide state-of-the-art diagnostic data.
- Assist with charting and documentation, supporting doctors in treatment planning.
- Collaborate with the entire team to deliver a superior patient experience.
- Greet guests with a smile.
- Train and use the iTero scanner.
- Prep and educate guests before the Dr. exam.
- Assist dentists with all procedures.
- Sterilize instruments.
- Prepare treatment rooms.
- Record medical history for each guest.
- Perform X-rays.
- Chart existing and recommended treatments.
- Perform other duties as required to support the office.
- Work collectively as a team to provide the best quality care.
- Active Registered Dental Assistant License.
- Current CPR certification.
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
- Travel for newly acquired offices may be required.
