Join Product Connections (a part of Acosta Group) as a Lead Event Specialist. This part‑time position supports in‑store product demonstrations, event execution, and customer engagement.

The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, maintaining product knowledge, serving and demonstrating products to consumers, and ensuring professional appearance and equipment readiness.

• Manage and maintain equipment and supplies for events, keeping them clean and secured in the agreed area of the backroom.
• When the Supervisor is absent, communicate with store management about upcoming and past events.
• Act as the point person for all events in the store, assisting other Event Specialists with kits, materials, and tools.
• Provide leadership and knowledge to the team.
• Gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell products to consumers.
• Assist/perform all job responsibilities assigned to the demo program.
• Communicate product features and benefits effectively.
• Prepare and serve food samples—raw meats, produce, eggs—complying with food safety guidelines.
• Use small appliances (microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, knives) to prepare food samples.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Set up and prepare the Event Table for execution.
• Complete all assigned work and assist with client visits and audit corrections.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
• File expense reports per Company Policy.
• Submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Take digital photos of Perfect Table Setup to document success stories for clients.

Education / Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1‑3 months’ related experience/training; or equivalent education/experience combination.

Computer

Skills:

Proficient with personal computer and mobile device applications and internal systems.

Certificates / Licenses: Food Safety Professional Certification; local food handler permit if required.

Physical Demands: Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, balance, lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), push/pull a wheeled demonstration cart, prepare foods with raw products, use cooking utensils, and contact cleaning supplies.

English required; bilingual skills may be required.

This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may adjust duties based on business needs.
