Phlebotomist II Float – Riverview, FL

Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM with rotational weekends.

Pay range: $19.32+ per hour
. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive an annual performance bonus.

• Assigned a territory to cover phlebotomy duties within a patient service center, doctor’s office, or as business needs dictate.
• Draw high‑quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
• Enter billing information and collect payment when required.
• Coach, mentor, instruct, and serve as a resource advisor for new employees; act as the point of contact on site and provide regular input to the group lead or supervisor.
• Travel to additional doctor’s office or patient service center sites when needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.)

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Minimum two years in a patient service center environment preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

The position requires the ability to effectively communicate in English.
