Position SummaryAs a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations by preparing and dispensing medications in accordance with standard procedures and regulatory requirements. You’ll work alongside pharmacists to ensure that prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely. You will also be responsible for maintaining proper documentation and contributing to continuous quality improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists with preparing and filling prescription medications.
- Perform quality control and auditing to ensure accuracy in medication dispensing.
- Support inventory management by tracking, organizing, and rotating stock.
- Carry out general clerical tasks such as labeling, data entry, and filing.
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and compliance logs.
- Adhere to company policies and state/federal pharmacy regulations.
- Contribute to ongoing facility improvement initiatives.
- Follow established protocols for reporting and documenting errors or discrepancies.
- Assist with other functions of the building to meet business needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Florida.
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, squat, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
This role is primarily in a fulfillment pharmacy setting, requiring extended periods of standing and consistent attention to detail in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
