• Delivers Respiratory Care Services under physician order and hospital protocols, functioning independently in unsupervised patient contact situations requiring judgment.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
• Conducts diagnostic testing and provides emergency/critical care for adults.

• RRT (Respiratory Therapy License)
• Active NBRC Credential for RRT
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
• NRP (Neonatal) – within 6 months
• ACLS (Cardiovascular)
• PALS (Pediatric)

• Technical Respiratory Therapy
• Associate’s Respiratory Therapy

• 6 months of Respiratory Therapy experience

• Clinical skills appropriate to position
• Computer skills appropriate to position
• Collaborative teamwork
• Critical thinking skills
• Advanced respiratory assessment and evaluations
