The community you'll be caring for: Advent Health Riverview

Advent Health is expanding our medical expertise, innovation, and state‑of‑the‑art technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brand‑new hospital in Riverview, scheduled to open in 2024. The new Advent Health Riverview hospital will include 82 beds at opening with space to expand to 202 beds in the future. This $250 million project also includes a 100,000 square foot, four‑story Medical Office Building that will provide community members convenient access to expert care.

Advent Health Riverview will offer a wide range of health care services, including emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, urology, orthopedic and women's care.

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures.
• Maintains records of examinations performed.
• Obtains and documents patient clinical information as needed.
• Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards.
• Assists in radiology department as needed.
• Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.

• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Explains procedures to patients, ensuring comfort, cooperation, and privacy throughout the exam.
• Performs high‑quality examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
• Positions patients accurately and comfortably, using immobilization devices when necessary.
• Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care.

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required
• Amer Reg Diag Med Sonography (ARDMS) Required
• Registered Technologist - Sonography (RTS) Required
