Full-time
Compensation- Estimated first-year earnings range, including hourly wage and commission: $45,000 - $65,000
- Uncapped commission and earnings.
- Training Pay of $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks.
- This position sells pre-need and at-need funeral services and inventory as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise.
- The Sales Counselor assists families with funeral selections and attends services.
- Leads are generated through a combination of walk-ins, inbound calls and proactive lead generation and prospecting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred in Business, Marketing, or Sales.
- 1 year of sales experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) required.
- Experience with a CRM (lead management system preferred).
- Strong attention to detail with problem‑solving skills.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.
