Cost Accountant - Non Egyptian

A well-established and growing contracting company in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join our finance team. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in cost accounting, specifically within the construction or contracting industry.

• Analyze, compile, and document actual project costs (materials, labor, equipment, overhead).
• Compare actual costs against approved budgets and investigate variances.
• Prepare regular project cost reports (weekly/monthly/final) for management and project managers.
• Assist in preparing initial project budgets and estimates.
• Monitor and track project financial performance against budgets.
• Track and value inventory of materials and supplies.
• Support the development and implementation of cost accounting systems and internal policies.
• Collaborate with accounting, procurement, and project departments to ensure data accuracy.
• Participate in periodic inventory counts and valuation.
• Utilize integrated accounting software (experience with Odoo ERP is a MUST
  ) for financial data entry and processing.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in Cost Accounting
  .
• Proven prior experience in a construction or contracting company is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and cost accounting procedures.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts).
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus;
  Odoo Accounting experience is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High accuracy, organizational skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with the local business environment and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
