Junior Accountant Receivable

Job Summary

We are seeking motivated candidates to join Azad Properties and Red Malls. This Junior Accounts Receivable role is an excellent opportunity for a student, recent graduate, or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience within a leading real estate environment in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will support the finance team in managing receivables, ensuring timely collection, and maintaining accurate customer account records.

• Process and post customer invoices, credit notes, and adjustments in the accounting system.

• Monitor accounts receivable ageing and follow up on overdue balances with customers via email and phone.

• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate balances.

• Apply customer receipts and allocate payments to appropriate invoices.

• Support the preparation of monthly receivable reports and cash collection forecasts for management.

• Liaise with Leasing, Property Management, and Operations teams to resolve tenant billing queries and disputes.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, documentation, and supporting schedules.

• Assist with month-end closing activities related to receivables, including accruals and reconciliations.

• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance collection efficiency and reporting accuracy.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or currently studying towards a relevant qualification.

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or a finance support role is preferred.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.

• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Yardi, or similar).

• Familiarity with real estate or property management billing and receivables.

• Basic data analysis and reporting skills to support collection tracking and management reporting.

• Proactive and customer-focused with a solutions-oriented approach.

• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Reliable, organised, and able to meet deadlines.

• Willingness to learn, adapt, and develop in a growing finance team.
