Senior Accountant

Job Description Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports
• Lead month‑end closing activities including reconciliations, accruals and provisions
• Review general ledger postings to ensure accuracy, proper classification and compliance with accounting policies
• Coordinate with Shared Service Center on AP, AR, R2R and master data activities
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable and cash‑related accounting activities
• Review supplier and customer reconciliations, aging reports and payment proposals
• Support inventory costing and COGS analysis in coordination with operations
• Participate in physical inventory counts and investigate variances
• Support internal and external audits and address audit findings
• Implement and monitor internal controls and process improvements
• Guide and support junior accounting team members

• Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field
• 6 8 years of accounting and finance experience
• At least 2 3 years in a senior or supervisory accounting role
• Previous experience in manufacturing or the plastic industry is highly preferred
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Business One or similar ERP
• Strong reporting, analytical and communication skills
• Excellent closing, reconciliation and reporting skills
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, SOCPA or IFRS certification is preferred
