The accountant is the financial executor behind the company’s daily operations. This role requires a precise and self-driven professional capable of managing the full accounting cycle — from journal entries to reconciliations — while ensuring clean documentation and full regulatory compliance across all transactions.
Role and ResponsibilityI. Accounting Operations
Ledger & Journal Entries: Record daily transactions per SOCPA and IFRS; match cost centers to project phases.
AP / AR Cycle: Manage payables, receivables, and monthly bank reconciliations.
Documentation: Maintain structured filing for contracts and invoices ensuring audit readiness.
II. Tax & ComplianceVAT: Prepare periodic VAT returns; reconcile supplier invoices per ZATCA requirements.
Zakat: Support the Finance Manager in compiling Zakat filings on schedule.
III. Reporting & Cash FlowBudget vs. Actual: Track project expenditure against approved budgets; flag variances early.
Cash Flow: Monitor project-linked cash flows and provide timely liquidity snapshots.
Candidate SpecificationsAcademic: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience: Minimum 5 years hands‑on experience within the hotel/hospitality sector (mandatory), with strong working knowledge of the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI).
Technical: Advanced Excel, Project Costing. ERP is a plus.
- Profile: High accuracy, strong prioritization, good command of English.
