Financial Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Record and post manual and system-generated journal entries in SAP, ensuring accuracy, completeness and proper supporting documentation for accounting entries.
• Prepare accruals, prepayments, provisions and adjusting entries.
• Maintain proper mapping of transactions to GL accounts and cost centers.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, including bank, AR, AP, control, inventory, payroll and intercompany accounts.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation differences on a timely basis.
• Maintain reconciliation schedules with proper documentation for audit purposes.
• Support monthly and year‑end closing activities, ensuring transactions are recorded in the correct accounting period.
• Review GL balances and identify abnormal movements, proposing adjusting entries when required.
• Assist in preparing trial balance and financial reporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, SOCPA and internal finance policies.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in General Ledger or Financial Accounting.
• SOCPA certification required.
• Hands‑on SAP experience.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting and account reconciliations.
• Experience in month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Knowledge of IFRS and SOCPA requirements.
• Pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Strong English communication skills.
