Cost Accounting Controller

Our client is a leading large company in the field of real estate development seeking a highly analytical and experienced professional to oversee and manage project cost controls across their expanding portfolio in Riyadh.

• Project cost tracking: collect, record, and track all cost components related to real estate projects including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
• Cost center management: establish, update, and monitor dedicated cost centers for every project and individual work item.
• Variance and financial control: perform continuous budget versus actual comparisons, analyze variances, and submit actionable financial recommendations to leadership.
• Subcontractor payment verification: verify and validate all invoices and payment certificates submitted by subcontractors, aligning them strictly with actual project completion percentages.
• Tendering and BOQ support: assist in preparing bid evaluations, pricing structures, and Bill of Quantities verification.
• BOQ pricing system reconciliations: prepare and process precise project cost entries ensuring full reconciliation within the Microsoft Dynamics ERP platform.
• Project close‑out reporting: compile and finalize detailed, comprehensive final cost reports upon the completion and delivery of each project.

Education:

BA/Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a CMA certification is a strong plus.

Experience:

7+ years of cost accounting experience.

Industry background: must have worked in a similar position within a real‑estate development or contracting company. Former exposure to manufacturing/factory cost accounting is considered a major plus.

Languages:

native Arabic speaker with very good English communication skills.

Location & Hiring Status: inside KSA only (local transfer); candidate must be available to join immediately or within 30 days.
