Cashier​/Collector

The Cashier / Collector is responsible for receiving customer payments, processing cash and bank transactions, issuing official receipts, following up on outstanding customer balances, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial procedures.

• Receive cash, cheque, bank transfer, and POS payments from customers.
• Issue official receipts and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Prepare daily cash collection reports and reconcile cash balances.
• Deposit cash and cheques into the designated company bank accounts.
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and overdue payments.
• Coordinate with the Sales, Parts, Service, and Finance departments to resolve payment-related issues.
• Update customer payment records in the ERP/accounting system.
• Prepare customer account statements when requested.
• Maintain proper filing of payment documents, receipts, and supporting records.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and internal controls.
• Assist during monthly and annual financial closing activities.
• Support internal and external auditors by providing required documentation.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding payments and account balances professionally.

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

2–4 years of experience in cashiering, accounts receivable, or collections.

Experience in a heavy equipment, automotive, industrial, or trading company is preferred.

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar is an advantage.
