An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Subcontractor Admin Invoicing professional to join the Riyadh Metro Line 2 Extension Project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position is ideal for professionals with expertise in subcontractor invoicing, commercial administration, payment certification, and financial documentation within large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing subcontractor invoice administration, coordinating with commercial and finance teams, ensuring compliance with subcontract agreements, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities- Receive, log, and track subcontractor invoices while ensuring all supporting documentation is complete.
- Verify invoices against approved payment certificates, subcontract agreements, and valuation records.
- Maintain accurate subcontractor invoice registers and status trackers.
- Coordinate with Quantity Surveying (QS) and Commercial teams to validate measurements and valuations.
- Liaise with subcontractors to resolve invoice discrepancies, missing documentation, and payment queries.
- Process retention releases, advance payment recoveries, deductions, and contractual adjustments.
- Coordinate with Finance and Accounts Payable teams to facilitate timely payment processing.
- Prepare periodic reports on invoice status, outstanding payments, and ageing analysis.
- Maintain organized, audit‑ready invoice records and correspondence in accordance with project document control procedures.
- Support subcontractor account reconciliation and final account close‑out documentation.
- Coordinate invoice processing with Joint Venture (JV) commercial and finance teams.
- Assist in resolving subcontractor payment disputes through accurate documentation and audit trails.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Candidates with a Quantity Surveying background will also be considered.
Experience
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in subcontractor administration, invoicing, commercial support, or accounts support roles.
- Experience working on major construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in subcontractor invoice verification, payment certification, and reconciliation.
- Experience in metro, rail, or tunnelling projects is an advantage.
- Middle East or GCC project experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of VAT and withholding tax requirements in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
