Senior Chief Accountant Associate

At Mnzil, reliable financial reporting and strong accounting controls are essential to making confident business decisions. As we continue expanding across Saudi Arabia, we're looking for an experienced accounting professional to lead our day-to-day accounting operations and strengthen our financial processes.

As Chief Accountant, you will oversee accounting activities, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and manage month-end and year-end closing. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to maintain compliance, improve internal controls, and deliver timely financial insights.

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, and reconciliations
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports
• Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure proper transaction classification
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT, ZATCA, and applicable local requirements
• Manage cash flow reporting and support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other stakeholders
• Support the implementation and improvement of accounting and ERP systems
• Guide accounting team members and review the quality of their work
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience overseeing accounting operations
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Saudi financial and tax requirements
• Solid experience in financial reporting, closing, and general ledger accounting
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems
• Ability to manage priorities, lead processes, and meet reporting deadlines
• Professional accounting certification such as SOCPA, CPA, or ACCA is a plus
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
