Audit Managers – Business Development

As part of AKCPA’s continued growth across Saudi Arabia, we are seeking experienced Audit Managers to join our teams in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Khobar
.

These roles are designed for experienced audit professionals with a strong commercial orientation and the ability to contribute directly to the continued growth of our Audit & Assurance practice.

While technical audit expertise remains fundamental, the role carries a significant focus on business development, market engagement, client relationship management, and portfolio growth
.

As an Audit Manager, you will play an active role in developing AKCPA’s presence in your respective market. You will work closely with the firm’s leadership to identify opportunities, develop strategic client relationships, and convert market opportunities into long-term engagements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving business development initiatives and originating new Audit & Assurance opportunities
• Developing and managing relationships with business owners, boards, CFOs, finance executives, and other senior stakeholders
• Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities
• Leading the commercial process from opportunity identification and qualification through proposal, presentation, negotiation, and engagement
• Developing and growing a portfolio of client relationships within the respective regional market
• Identifying opportunities to expand existing client relationships across the firm’s broader service capabilities
• Representing AKCPA in the business community and strengthening the firm’s market presence
• Working with Partners and engagement teams to ensure opportunities are appropriately scoped, commercially structured, and successfully transitioned into delivery
• Maintaining appropriate oversight of engagements and senior client relationships while leveraging the wider audit team for execution

We are looking for established audit professionals who combine technical credibility with strong commercial capabilities
.

Successful candidates will typically bring:

• Significant external audit and assurance experience within a reputable professional services firm
• Experience at Audit Manager level or above
• A demonstrated ability to develop business, originate opportunities, and grow client relationships
• Strong commercial judgement and an established understanding of the Saudi market
• The confidence and credibility to engage with senior executives, shareholders, boards, and finance leadership
• Strong proposal development, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management capabilities
• The ability to independently manage a pipeline and take ownership of business development activities within their market
• A recognized professional qualification such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent
• Strong Arabic and English communication skills

This role offers a broader mandate than a conventional Audit Manager position.

We are seeking professionals who want to progress beyond engagement management and take a more active role in building a practice, developing a market, and growing a client portfolio
.

The successful candidates will be expected to combine the technical standing of an experienced audit professional with the commercial judgement and market presence required to contribute to the firm’s long-term growth.
