Group Corporate Finance Role
Purpose:
The Financial Reporting Officer is responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. The role supports financial analysis, reporting activities, audit requirements, and financial statement preparation to facilitate informed decision-making and maintain the integrity of financial information.
KeyDuties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and support schedules.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and applicable regulations.
- Support the implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Maintain documentation supporting financial reporting activities.
- Analyze financial data and identify significant variances.
- Assist in preparing management reports and financial performance summaries.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit engagements.
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
- Maintain financial reporting databases and records.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Financial Reporting, Accounting, or Finance.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and management reports.
- Good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- IFRS Knowledge and Application.
- Financial Analysis and Variance Analysis.
- General Ledger and Account Reconciliation.
