FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Industry: Heavy civil / infrastructure contracting - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Our client is a well-established contractor delivering large-scale infrastructure programs.
Location:
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (head office based)
Lead the financial control function for the business, ensuring accurate reporting, robust cost control, and strong financial governance across projects and business lines.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee monthly financial close, management accounts, and reporting to senior leadership
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow across projects and business lines
- Maintain strong project-level cost control in coordination with commercial/project teams
- Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and audit requirements
- Strengthen financial controls, policies, and internal governance
- Partner with senior leadership on financial planning and business performance analysis
- 10-15 years total finance/accounting experience
- Minimum 3-5 years in a Financial Controller (or equivalent senior finance leadership) role
- Prior experience within a construction or contracting company is essential
- Strong technical accounting background (qualified accountant preferred — CPA/ACCA/CA or equivalent)
- Experience managing project-based cost control and multi-entity reporting
- Open to candidates of any nationality within Saudi Arabia
