We are seeking a motivated Accounting Trainee to join our Finance team. This opportunity is designed for recent graduates looking to gain practical experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and financial controls within a dynamic and fast-paced organization. The trainee will work closely with experienced finance professionals, supporting daily accounting activities while developing a strong understanding of accounting principles, month-end closing processes, and corporate finance best practices.
Responsibilities- Support day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with recording journal entries and updating the general ledger.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Assist in preparing bank, vendor, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Review invoices and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Support payment processing in accordance with internal policies and approval workflows.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Help prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain organized accounting records, files, and transaction documents.
- Support internal and external audit requirements by providing relevant documentation.
- Assist with fixed-asset records, expense reviews, and balance-sheet reconciliations when required.
- Contribute to process-improvement and finance-automation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, accounting standard, and regulatory requirements.
- Eligible for the Tamheer Program.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity.
- Ability to organize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a corporate accounting environment.
