Payments Accountant
Executing financial payment transactions
The payments accountant is responsible for executing and monitoring payments to suppliers and various parties accurately and on time, while adhering to the financial policies and procedures approved within the company.
Supporting financial closure operationsParticipating in the preparation of accounts payable reports and supporting monthly closing processes, including the preparation of AP Aging and Payments Reports and the analysis of relevant financial data.
Processing disbursement and invoice requestsProcessing payment requests according to approved authorizations, including purchase orders (POs), purchase requests (PRs), and invoices, and ensuring their compliance with financial regulations and policies.
Qualifications and job requirementsBachelor's degree in financial accounting or a related field.
Practical experienceOne to three years of experience in accounts payable or financial payments.
Technical skillsProficient in using Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Strong organizational and time management skillsAdherence to deadlines
Professional certifications (an added benefit)
Membership in the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) is preferred.
