We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Costing Accountant to join our Finance team.
The successful candidate will support project and cost accounting activities
, ensuring accurate cost allocation, project cost tracking, reconciliations, variance analysis, and reliable financial reporting across multiple projects and business units.
- Record, monitor, and reconcile project-related costs across projects and cost centers.
- Ensure accurate cost classification and allocation
. - Prepare project cost reports and perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor project expenditures and highlight significant cost variances.
- Support CAPEX, WIP, asset additions, and capitalization activities.
- Perform project cost and balance-sheet reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with Finance, Project, and Procurement teams to resolve cost-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies,
IFRS
, and internal controls.
These responsibilities reflect the JD, including project costing, reconciliations, CAPEX/WIP, variance analysis and financial closing support. Costing Accountant
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
. - 3+ years of relevant Accounting/Finance experience.
- Experience in Cost Accounting, Project Accounting, or Financial Accounting
. - Hands-on experience with cost allocation, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting
. - Experience using ERP / financial systems
. - Good command of Microsoft Excel and English.
- Knowledge of IFRS is preferred.
- Experience with CAPEX, WIP, or project cost reporting is an advantage.
- Experience in project-driven sectors such as Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure, Entertainment, Hospitality, or Commercial Centers is highly desirable. Costing Accountant.
