Description Our client is a leading large-scale holding company in the service industry We are seeking a qualified Consolidation Supervisor to join the Group Reporting amp Consolidation department reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer CFO This position focuses specifically on group-level consolidation schedules IFRS compliance and reporting cycle management separate from general ledger accounting
Responsibilities- Financial Statement Preparation Prepare monthly quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements reporting packs and supporting working papers under IFRS
- Consolidation amp Eliminations Execute group consolidation workbooks including intercompany transactions balances matching unrealized profit adjustments and elimination entries
- Subsidiary Data Governance Collect audit and compile financial submissions from subsidiary finance units enforcing reporting deadlines and group accounting policies
- Disclosures amp Technical Notes Draft and structure full IFRS-compliant footnote disclosures notes and technical accounting treatments for group entities
- Balance Sheet Integrity Review and maintain detailed balance sheet reconciliations and reporting close schedules across group entities
- Variance amp Management Reporting Assist in delivering management reporting packs financial modeling and variance analysis schedules for executive review
- Audit Coordination amp Compliance Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors compiling audit deliverables PBC schedules and maintaining organized consolidation archives
- Education Bachelor s degree in Accounting CPA SOCPA CA or ACCA is a strong plus
- Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting group consolidation or top 10 audit firms
- Languages Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English mandatory
- Technical & Excel Expertise Advanced financial modeling Power Query Dynamic Arrays complex formulas XLOOKUP INDEX-MATCH SUMIFS and consolidated workbook architecture
- Education:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting (CPA, SOCPA, CA, or ACCA is a strong plus). - Experience:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, group consolidation, or top 10 audit firms. - Languages:
Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (mandatory). - Technical & Excel Expertise:
Advanced financial modeling, Power Query, Dynamic Arrays, complex formulas (XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS), and consolidated workbook architecture.
