About the RoleAs an Event Operations Assistant, you will support the planning and execution of events. This entry-level role is ideal for graduates or those with 1–2 years of business experience who are eager to start a career in event operations with a global organizer. Working closely with the Operations Executive and Manager, you will provide administrative, logistical, and coordination support to ensure events run smoothly and meet the highest standards.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support across operations, including maintaining trackers, preparing documents, and updating shared systems.
- Assist in event planning by creating schedules, manuals, and exhibitor information packs.
- Source supplier quotes and support procurement and paperwork processes.
- Coordinate with exhibitors, addressing operational queries and directing them to resources.
- Maintain accurate records of deadlines, supplier requirements, and compliance documents.
- Support Operations Executive and Manager in liaising with venues, contractors, and internal teams.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and budget-related administration.
- Provide onsite support during build-up, live event days, and breakdown to ensure a smooth experience.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams for timely communication of operational details.
- Graduate preferred or 1–2 years of proven business experience
- Strong interest in building a career in events with a global organizer
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to work professionally with suppliers, exhibitors, and colleagues
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and shared document tools
- Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to support onsite during events, including occasional work outside standard hours
- Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and desire to grow within operations
