Entry-Level Librarian

As an entry-level librarian in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for providing library services to patrons and assisting with administrative tasks. This is an ideal opportunity for a Pakistani or African candidate seeking English-speaking jobs without prior experience.

• Assist patrons with finding materials and provide information on library resources
• Organise and maintain library collection using the Dewey Decimal System
• Process new materials and input them into the library catalog system
• Manage circulation of materials, including check-outs, returns, and renewals
• Develop and implement library programs and activities for all age groups
• Collaborate with other librarians to enhance library services and collections
• Assist with administrative tasks such as budgeting, ordering supplies, and creating reports

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field (required)
• Fluency in English (required)
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations (required)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (required)
• Experience working in a library setting (preferred)
• Familiarity with the Dewey Decimal System (preferred)

Salary:
Starting at $1100 per month, based on qualifications and experience.
