Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical issues within vehicle dashboards and instrument clusters ensuring all gauges, lights, and indicators function correctly.
- Perform precision soldering and component‑level repair on printed circuit boards (PCBs) found in modern digital dashboards.
- Calibrate and test advanced driver‑assist system (ADAS) integrated into the dashboard, such as lane‑keeping assist and adaptive cruise control displays.
- Install and configure aftermarket dashboard components and accessories, integrating them seamlessly with existing vehicle electronics.
- Possession of a vocational degree or certificate in Automotive Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience specifically working with automotive dashboard electronics and mechanical systems.
- Certification from recognized bodies like ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) in relevant areas is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing CAN bus communication systems and other automotive networks.
