Position Overview
The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles according to manufacturer standards and company procedures. The role supports workshop operations by delivering high-quality technical service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining safety and operational excellence within the service center.
Key Responsibilities- Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and scheduled maintenance activities.
- Identify mechanical, electrical, and technical faults using diagnostic equipment and repair manuals.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance according to OEM standards and workshop procedures.
- Conduct testing and quality checks to ensure vehicles are operating correctly before delivery.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues with guidance from senior technicians or workshop supervisors.
- Accurately document repair findings, work performed, and parts utilized.
- Ensure timely completion of repair orders while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
- Follow all safety policies, operational procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and Parts teams to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in technical training and continuously improve product and technical knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems including electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment effectively.
- Understanding of repair manuals, technical documentation, and OEM procedures.
- Knowledge of EV systems and high-voltage safety procedures is an advantage.
- Familiarity with workshop health and safety practices.
- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Diploma or technical certification in Automotive Technology or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive service and repair.
- Experience with premium automotive brands or EV vehicles is preferred.
- Basic English communication skills;
Arabic is a plus. - Valid driving license preferred.
