To diagnosevehicle faults and perform repairs in accord with instructions provided by Workshop Supervisor. To perform work according to the target times, to achievingproductivity, and standards of the Company.

• Road test and advice the technician on any fault found or any remedialwork required.
• Inspect each vehicle for additional work requirements.
• Secure approval from the Workshop Supervisor for parts replacement,and/or additional work which may be required.
• Notify Workshop Supervisor ahead of time if the job completion deadlinecannot be achieved.
• Maintain control of replaced parts in accord with company procedureswarranty control, bagging if customer pay, core returns and scrap.
• Exercise care of customer's vehicles, utilizing covers and mats to avoidsoiling the vehicle interior.
• Inspect for unreported damage or personal articles and advise supervisor of irregularities.
• Create effective use of special tools and equipment to improve work quality and productivity.
• Maintain thorough and current product knowledge, reading manufacturerstechnical publications.
• Maintain relationships with customers by meeting and exceeding their potential.
• Assist in maintaining work area in a clean condition.
• Use safety equipment provided by the Company and notify supervisor ofunsafe practices observed in the workshop
• Performing any other tasks as assigned by his/her direct Manager

• Degreeor Diploma in Mechanical / Technical Engineering or ITI

• Minimum3-4 years of experience within Similar role in Automotive sector.

• Knowledge of auto electrical andauto-mechanical parts and auto-components.
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of computer literacy and workshop operating procedures .
